Just finished eating our first meal from Dubz and OMG! We have lived in Charlotte county for 8+ years now and have tried many different bbq places. Dubz is the BEST EVER. Now, we really know good barbeque. Hubby and I were both born and raised in Kentucky. Lived there until we retired in 2017 to move to Florida. Had a lot of fabulous bbq all over Kentucky, some of the best joints were found in Bardstown, known for great bbq. Especially the Moonlight BBQ. We have had lots of bbq here in Florida, and while most were okay or even decently good, we haven’t found anything that really struck us as equal to Bardstown bbq. UNTIL NOW. Thanks to Dubz in North port we now have a go to BBQ joint that gives us a taste of home. Yum. We used order and delivery but now we look forward to coming to dine in. I had the wings and pulled pork, slaw and baked beans, so good, wings were moist and tender. Loved the cornbread that accompanied my platter. Hubby had the brisket burnt ends and the burn end pork belly with collard greens and Mac n cheese. We both ate til full and still have enough for lunch tomorrow, really large portions. I took a taste of the brisket as hubby was raving about the flavor of both meats, let me state that the smoke and flavorful “burniness” was so good.
